Dear Parents,
We have updated the tabs below so that all the activities for that week are in one place! Within that, there is a tab for each day. We have provided English/topic and maths activities each day. Some activities you’ll need just a paper and pen, some you may need the internet and some you need nothing at all! Remember these activities are just suggestions, we are not expecting you to home school your children, these are just activities to support learning that would have happened in school and make sure you have things to do.
Once we are back at school, we will assess your children and fill any gaps that are there, that is what we do! We don’t want you to feel any pressure to complete every activity. There is also not an expectation for you send in completed work when we get back into school, although we would love to see it!
As this lockdown continues, it is really important that you look after each other. This is lasting longer than we all expected and may last a while longer too. Your children are probably missing school and their friends, this is completely normal, we are sure this is the same for you too. Again please remember that your child is in a different environment for learning . We don’t want either of you (parent or child) to be put under too much pressure to complete all the activities suggested – they are suggestions and not a to-do list. Be guided by your child, some days they will want to do more than others.
We will write a weekly letter to you and your child which can be found in the weekly tab.
