Pupil Questionnaire March 2023

In the same way it is important to find the views of parents, it is important to find the views of our pupils. This survey is for pupils from year 1 to year 6.

Please support your child(ren) in filling this in by Friday 24th March.

We are going to use the standard Ofsted questions and responses. If your child needs supporting with the questions, please help them with the reading and and navigating the page. We know the Ofsted responses can be confusing for younger children and please use your judgement as parents. If you don’t feel a question is appropriate for your child, please skip it and it you don’t feel the questionnaire is right for your child or you don’t want them to do it, that is absolutely fine.

SIAMS inspection report

Good afternoon,

I hope you are all having a great half term.

I am delighted to share the outcome of the SIAMS inspection (report below). A SIAMS inspection focuses on the impact of the Church school’s Christian vision on pupils and adults. This involves looking at the school’s Christian vision, the provision the school makes because of this vision and how effective this provision is in enabling all pupils to flourish.

The grading are:

  • Excellent
  • Good
  • Requires improvement
  • Inadequate

Our last grading was ‘good’  and now our overall grading is ‘Excellent‘.

SIAMS report Whitfield St James Church of England VC Primary School

This has been the culmination of  the tireless hard work of staff, pupils, governors, our team at St James’ church and whole school community. I can’t thank you all enough for your hard work and support of our school. We will continue to reflect and adapt to meet the needs of our pupils, staff and school community.

Enjoy the rest of the half term.
