A huge thank you to Tesco and everyone who donated books in June and July. You have raised a fantastic £220 for books for our school library.

‘Kings and Queens’ Day – 9th September 2019

Mrs Fletcher’s and Mrs Cox/Mr Ford’s classes will be taking part in a ‘Kings and Queens’ day on the first Monday back (9th September).

Children are invited to dress up as royalty, knights or anything related to Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses – if they want to.

The day will introduce their new topic and will be filled with lots of fun and exciting activities.

Get those thinking caps on … I wonder which royalty will arrive into school on Monday 9th Sept

Gold Treat Summer Term

This term’s ‘Gold Treat’ gave the children a chance to learn how to juggle, use a diabolo and how to spin plates. The children loved it!

Class Structure for 2019 / 2020

Moving on day will be on Friday 5th July 2019 and the pupils will spend a day with their new teacher.

We will have a new class structure from next year which we think will be really positive in supporting our cross curricular approach and driving enjoyment and standards.

The classes have been chosen after discussion with teachers and the senior leadership team. The criteria have have been carefully considered and include; age, friendship groups, ability and classroom dynamics. Please let me stress that the classes have not be chosen solely on ability.
