Thank you for taking the time to look at our website and considering us as the next (or first!) school for your child. It is a really big decision and we are really excited to show you our learning environment and help you explore and see the positive start to school life your child could achieve if they were to join us. We have adopted the ‘Early Excellence’ approach in our Early Years and this includes continuous provision, enhancements to learning and directed teaching. Our teaching spaces are set up so that children can learn, build on experiences, explore and develop a love of learning!

We are extremely proud of our school and the environment we have created! We would love to be able to show you what we can offer you and your child. If you would like a tour, please contact the school office on 01457 852427 to book an appointment with either the Executive Headteacher, Head of School or the Early Years and Key Stage 1 Leader who will happily show you our school.

Our Reception classrooms are a truly exceptional start to every child’s learning journey. We build strong foundations for future success through rich, engaging experiences that spark curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Our children thrive both indoors and outdoors, with purposeful learning opportunities including those that happen during outdoor play, providing meaningful opportunities to explore, discover, and grow. As a Champion School for phonics and early reading, we ensure all children get off to a flying start with early reading, giving them the confidence and skills they need to excel. We carefully meet the needs of every child—offering support where needed and challenge for those ready to go further—so all children are empowered to reach and exceed their potential. Our nurturing, ambitious approach to teaching ensures every child feels valued, confident, and excited to learn. We are incredibly proud of our school and would love to show you what we can offer your child.
We have recently become a Little Wandle ‘Champion School’. This means we have met 16 Standards of Excellence in the teaching of early reading and phonics. We are one of 32 schools (of the 5500+ schools that use this early reading and phonics programme) around the country to have this fantastic recognition.
