I have been a governor at Whitfield St James since my eldest child (now Year 7 at high school) started in Reception. I now have one child at St James (in Year 3) and being the current vice-chair I can bring many years of experience to the role of parent governor.
I have helped oversee the recent transition to the new Head and Deputy-Head Teachers and hope to be part of the journey to ensure the school continues to strive for excellence.
If I were to be re-elected, I would continue to ensure the school is challenged in all areas, therefore giving each and every pupil the best chance of succeeding during their primary years.
